My name is Mistie. I am the proud owner of Doxielicious.
A little about me: I am happily married. I do not have any human children. I do, however, have my fur-babies. I created this company because I've heard too many bad stories about people losing their babies after giving them certain store bought treats with harmful chemicals in them. This got me thinking that I didn't want to be feeding my babies anything like that: treats that, over the course of time, could harm them and make them very sick (or worse!) So I did some research, and started making their treats myself and have been making the for friends and family since November 2014. Due to medical issues, I was a stay at home dog-mom... with a dream. My mom suggested that I start selling my treats and, in the process, create my own business doing so. I am thankful for the support and encouragement from my husband and parents for, without them I would not have been able to launch and continue to grow this business. I am so passionate about not only my girls, but all the other fur-babies out there! I want to be able to help ease the minds of pet parents so that they can give their fur-babies treats knowing where they come from and what ingredients are used to make them. I know there are a lot of pet parents out there who would love to be able to do that, but do not have the time, patience, or both. So I am happy to do the work for you!!! My motto is : "If I won't give it to my babies I sure as heck won't give it to yours!!!"
My name is Tsunade (pronounced soo-na-day) I am the head taste tester. I am a tweenie sized black and tan dachshund. I love to chase squirrels and rabbits, I have lost a few of my teeth so i prefer softer treats, which my mom has lovingly made me!!! (P.S. they are named after me) I really like it when mom bakes because my sister Miley and I get to try each of the flavors she makes.
My name is Miley (no I was not named after Miley Cyrus) I am the assistant taste tester. I am a tweenie black and tan dachshund as well. I love to chase squirrels, rabbits, geese and other birds. I am addicted to peanut butter, so mommy named the peanut butter flavored treats after me!! I really love it that I am on quality control duty because that means I get to try each and every flavor from every batch!!!!!
